On behalf of the Muslim American Society (MAS), Bay Area Chapter, we would like to extend our deepest condolences to the community and the family of brother Aladdin Afifi who has passed away in Egypt.

Sheikh Aladdin was an active member in our community and a respected member of MAS. He served as the president of the MCA and also lead Taraweeh prayers for a few years.  Many of our children memorized the Quran under Sheikh Aladdin's supervision.  The MAS family is very saddened by the departure of our beloved brother Aladdin Afifi and will be accepting condolences tomorrow, Thursday June 18th, between Maghrib and Isha at the MCA's banquet hall.
