| The Lighthouse Project |
 |
The Lighthouse Project is a new, dynamic MAS Tarbiya campaign designed to touch every MAS member. The project will move MAS members, teams, and chapters to strive collectively for a common tarbiya theme for a whole month. MAS Tarbiya will drive the Lighthouse Project through a wealth of resources, practical implementations, online seminars, discussions and inspiring messages.

MYG's mission is clear: to instill the Islamic spirit of social responsibility in young Americans and demonstrate the message of Islam through proactive service. To accomplish this mission, MYG coordinates monthly volunteer activities in cooperation with various Bay Area social service and charity organizations. In the past, MYG has worked with Second Harvest Food Bank, Special Olympics, Habitat for Humanity, Loaves and Fishes soup kitchen, Project Open Hand, City Trees, Glide Community Center, the Boys and Girls Club and others.

| Usrah Program |

The usrah is an intensive, spiritually-focused, activism-oriented program that develops the individual and invites him or her to join hands with MAS and work for the sake of Islam as a central priority in life.The usrah aims to apply personal, comprehensive character development for each member, a process we call Tarbiyah.
