Community Development

Community Development Committee is a subcommittee of MAS which:

- Develops and organizes professional Islamic programs.
- Provide volunteers with the right means and tools to serve the Muslim Community.
- Educate the Muslim Community though our numerous workshops and seminars.
- Learn and benefit from working for the Muslim Community.
The following are activities that fall into the Community Development Department:

Night prayer: usually a monthly program where all the halaqas of one chapter spend the entire night or part of it in prayers, recitation of the Qur’an, supplication and remembrance of Allah, thus recharging the members spiritually, softening their hearts, purifying and nourishing their souls, rekindling/reinforcing the spirit of sacrifice, and preparing the individual to shoulder the burdens of the Islamic Call under all circumstances.

Camps: They allow for interaction in an open and free atmosphere, thus strengthening the ties of relationships and love for the sake of Allah.

Workshops/Seminars: MAS offers a broad range of seminars and workshops to empower youth with full understanding of relevant themes/concepts and mastership of important skills.
